I love visiting Pitmedden. Mostly for the delicious food they produce. They have the proportions and pricing spot on plus its cosy. The Wee shop for me has just enough mix of more food and local stuff. The produce from the gardens namely apples were too expensive, 4 a bag, half that and I might have been tempted. Bonus it's open until the end of October. See you soon.
There's a lot to this place - an exhibition space and historical farming equipment as well as the beautiful gardens - and it's all very well looked after. It's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
Very nice garden and old farming stuff. Worth a look if you are in the area. Takes about 3/4 hour to go round. Small tea room if you want some refreshment.
